Selah: God's Playlist for the Rhythms of Life

THE BOOK OF PSALMS The book of Psalms is a treasure that is often overlooked in the Bible. In the Psalms we see the extent of human experience ranging from joyous celebration, utter despair, consuming fear, bitter jealousy, to confident trust in God. The word "selah" is a Hebrew musical term probably meaning "lift up" or "pause," where singers would either raise their eyes to the heavens or lift up their voices emphasizing the the statement that is made, or pause for emphasis. In this series, we will explore the psalms, rejoice in who God is, and pause over it's riches as we enjoy God's playlist for the rhythms of life. Selah.
